Twin Quin Contest

• CONTEST RULES

  1. Participants must be eighteen (18) years of age or older to enter the Contest.

  2. The entry fee is $2.00 per entry. Each participant may submit a maximum of three (3) entries per contest day. Entry forms are available at the Annex Mutuel Line and/or the Information Booth.

  3. Participants must submit their own entries in person at the designated location and present valid photo identification. Oaklawn reserves the right to reject any entry that does not comply with these rules. Entries submitted by any other method will not be accepted.

  4. Participants must select one quinella (the horses finishing first and second in either order) in each of the two designated Twin Quin races. Oaklawn will select and announce the designated races prior to the opening of wagering for the Contest. Oaklawn reserves the right to substitute designated races due to cancellations, race changes, or other unforeseen circumstances.

  5. Entries must be submitted no later than five (5) minutes before the official post time of the first designated Twin Quin race, as determined by Oaklawn. Late entries will not be accepted.

  6. The participant(s) who correctly select both quinellas shall win the grand prize, consisting of $100 contributed by Oaklawn, plus that day’s entry fees and any carryover from previous contests. If no participant correctly selects both quinellas, all entry fees collected for that contest day will be carried over to the next Twin Quin Contest. If there are multiple winning entries, the prize pool, including that day’s entry fees and any carryover, will be divided equally among all winning entries. Official race results will determine all winning selections.

  7. Winners are solely responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes associated with prizes awarded through this Contest.

  8. If a participant’s selection is a late scratch, the scratched horse will be replaced by the post-time favorite determined by the final win pool.

  9. If one or both designated Twin Quin races are cancelled after entries have been accepted, Oaklawn reserves the right to substitute a race, issue refunds, or carry over that day’s entry fees to a future Contest.

  10. Employees of Oaklawn, Southwestern Catering, the Arkansas Racing Commission, on-site vendors, and members of their immediate households are not eligible to participate.

  11. All decisions regarding Contest administration, eligibility, prize distribution, rule interpretation, and all other matters relating to the Contest shall be final and made at the sole discretion of Oaklawn management.

  12. Oaklawn reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Twin Quin Contest at any time. Any material changes to these rules will be posted at Oaklawn and/or on Oaklawn’s website when practicable.
